My Backyard Beach

The pictures truly do not do this beach justice! It is very shallow and sandy, perfect for swimming! When the tide is out, you can spend hours beachcombing for sea glass and seashells.

Our Guest Rooms @ East Cape Beach Motel

There are 10 spacious rooms @ East Cape Beach Motel, all with sitting areas and either lake or ocean views. Three of the rooms are housekeeping units . Three of the rooms are deluxe suites with fireplaces. For summer 2010, our guest room rates range from $85 to $95 per night (plus applicable taxes). Ask about our special weekly and shoulder season rates.

This is my beach house. It is technically a motel, but I think of it more as a fusion between motel and having your own private room in a friend's beach house. It has a gorgeous beach to swim in the the backyard so it really is a destination in itself: a place that you can escape to and just stay awhile or a great place to make your home away from home while you explore beautiful PEI. More pictures will be posted shortly, but I will be redecorating with duvets and great linens as well as more nautically themed art. I want it to have a very beachy look and feel.
